Privacy Policy

Last updated August 24, 2026

wvlen builds software that keeps your data on your device, and this site follows the same principle. There is no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no accounts. The only measurement is a privacy-friendly page view counter. This page explains the small amount of data handling that does happen.

Who we are

This site and the apps it describes are made by wvlen LLC. You can reach us at dan@wvlen.llc.

This website

wvlen.llc uses GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not build profiles of visitors. We see aggregate numbers, such as which pages were visited and roughly where visits came from, not who you are. GoatCounter describes its data handling in its privacy policy. Beyond that, the site sets no cookies and does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect personal information through it.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as your IP address and browser user agent, to serve pages and protect against abuse. That processing is described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.

Scheduling and external links

Booking a call from this site takes you to Cal.com, which collects the information you enter there, such as your name, email, and meeting details, under Cal.com's privacy policy. Links to GitHub, where our apps are developed and downloaded, are governed by GitHub's privacy statement.

Email

If you email us, we keep the correspondence and use it only to respond to you and to do the work you have asked us to do. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your address with anyone.

Our macOS apps

Our apps, including Tomo, Pace, Mo, and Reco, are open source and designed to work without sending your data to us. None of them include analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or accounts. We have no servers that receive app data, so we cannot see what you do in them.

  • Pace stores your clipboard and snippet history locally on your Mac, encrypted, and performs OCR on device.
  • Reco transcribes dictation entirely on device.
  • Mo makes no network connections at all.
  • Tomo sends the messages, text, and screenshots you submit to the AI model endpoint you configure. That data goes directly from your Mac to the provider you choose, under that provider's privacy policy. It never passes through wvlen.

Downloads and updates come from GitHub releases, so GitHub handles those requests as described in its privacy statement.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information. We do not buy data about you from anyone else. We do not use your data to train models.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions are welcome at dan@wvlen.llc.
